**POSITION PROFILE**

As Plant Manager, you will be the operational leader responsible for the overall management of our company's production activities. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will lead the operational team to achieve production objectives while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure planning, coordination, and supervision of all plant operations.
- Mentor and motivate a multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Supervise the operations management team and collaborate with other departments to optimize cross-functional collaboration.
- Maximize production process efficiency, ensure adherence to production deadlines, and monitor the quality of finished products.
- Participate in the development and management of operational budgets, ensuring cost optimization while maintaining high standards.
- Promote and maintain a culture of health and safety at work, implementing strict safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage human, material, and technological resources to maximize operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, propose innovative solutions, and implement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity.

**PROFILE**
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field. A master's degree would be an asset.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a leadership role in the manufacturing sector.
- Bilingual (French - English, written and spoken), _as the position requires communication with our American plant_.
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing operations, in-depth knowledge of quality control procedures, and experience in implementing advanced technologies.
- Strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate and inspire a team, results-oriented.
- Proven experience in budget management and maximizing operational profitability.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed operational objectives.
- Commitment to employee safety and proven experience in implementing safety protocols.
