- About the roleWe are looking for ATB’s next Manager, Change Management to join our Planning, Assurance, Insights & Delivery team. As a Change Management leader, you are an expert in change management and leading a team of specialists to ensure the success of our projects in Client Experience & Technology. You keep the client at the center of everything you do to deliver delightful experiences. You inspire and mentor your team through proven leadership skills. Whether it is a process, system, or product (or all of these), we are only successful if clients and team members change their behaviors, mindsets, and/or capabilities to create new possibilities.
This position is a blend of individual delivery and leading team members. You will inspire change by coordinating and aligning your team, all stakeholders, sponsors, partners and experts to create a holistic change strategy that is centered around creating a differentiated experience for clients and team members. You will use data and insights to inform strategies you know clients will love and will drive value for ATB. You are a passionate leader and storyteller and understand how all of the pieces come together to create change.

Accountabilities- Lead a team of change specialists - including day-to-day responsibilities and ongoing coaching and development
- Focus team members on high-value activities and drive best practices, improvements, and consistency across the team
- Adjust delegation and management approach to team member capabilities
- Ensure clear articulation of the business goals/case for change
- Assess impact of change(s) being introduced and identify impacted stakeholders
- Identify change risks, design stakeholder engagement activities, prepare sponsors, develop team member readiness tactics and establish change metrics
- Participate in data review and establish feedback loops to adjust and iterate plans
- Recommend whether the readiness strategies are ready to successfully go to market and create the intended experience
- Update and prepare stakeholders on readiness strategies and how they can support
- Develop a strong transition to business ownership plan with stakeholders and sponsors
- Works alongside (and within the processes of) our internal communications, marketing and learning teams to deliver holistic change strategies
- Consult and think critically in order to effectively identify client needs, navigate complex people matters and formulate recommendations for leader consideration & action
- Function as a relationship builder and inspiring leader with the ability to work collaboratively to achieve results through influence
- Leverage and champion the ATB Change Method
- Collaborate to prioritize team objectives and activities to accomplish portfolio goals that are aligned to ATB’s strategic pillars
- Solve complex problems using teamwork and data
- Stay abreast of best practice in execution strategies and behaviour change

Skills, experience & requirementsAs the ideal Manager, Change Management you possess:
- Effective leadership, coaching and mentoring skills, with a proven track record
- The ability to create and execute strategic program/portfolio level change strategies and plans that are aligned to business outcomes
- The ability to asses, translate, and articulate what is really changing, for people, from complex technology-based projects
- 10 or more years experience in leading change management and delivering transformational change
