Junior Business Analyst

**Description**

**Job Summary**:
As our new Junior Business Analyst, you will work to evaluate business request submissions through our demand planner with the goal of ensuring business requests adhere to standards and guidelines and ultimately presenting to business leadership for approval with a clear outline of the resource and other requirements needed.-
**Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate business request submissions with a high degree of quality and completeness while ensuring they adhere to the standards set out by the business
- Actively coordinate, administer, and own the integrity of all information that relates to the status of the movement of requests through evaluation, and the communication to IS teams and stakeholders throughout the process
- Coordinate teams to help in the evaluation of requests, including establishing clarity of the request, ensuring requirements are well-established, identifying resources needed to perform the work, and estimating high-level work that will need to be actioned
- Assist and educate others in the business request submission process to support a uniformed, proactive approach to future requests

**Requirements**:

- A College, Trade or Technical education in a relevant field such as Business Analysts or Business Communications will be of advantage
- 1+ Years of Business Analysis experience within an enterprise level environment
- Proven coordination and organization skills and the ability to upward manage individuals to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
- 2+ years exposure to various delivery practice standards and methodologies
- 2+ years identifying and documenting solutions to complex business problems
- Working in a diversified corporate environment, proving services to a diverse group of companies
- Experience with, enterprise software, custom solutions, cyber security, and infrastructure requirements gathering and development

**Working Conditions**:

- Occasional event-related travel may be required
