**What you will do**

***You will be a part of the full-time Youth & Community Program Team, where you will support by coordinating the day-to-day operations of multiple Youth programs, services, and resources, across the YMCA of Three Rivers communities. You will work in partnership with the Supervisor, Youth Recreation & Wellness and the Youth Staff Team, along side youth themselves, to develop programming, events, resources and activities to meet the needs of youth community wide. **You will be committed to the quality delivery and success of programs including: the Chaplin YMCA Teen Drop in Zone, Youth Drop-in, Youth Sports, Youth Soccer, Youth Basketball, and the YMCA Youth Leadership Development Program, amongst other programs for youth aged 13-18 years.**

**What you will bring**

Ideally, you will have experience working with youth between the ages of 13-18 years. You will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience leading a team, and will have knowledge of the unique needs of the youth and resources available to them within our communities. You have post-secondary education in Child and Youth Work, Recreation & Leisure, Social Sciences or a related field, or experience equivalent. You will have excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills, in addition to strong interpersonal skills needed to build positive relationships. You will have a passion for meaningfully engaging with youth, to meeting them where they are at, ensuring they feel heard, welcomed and supported in YMCA Programs.

You have up-to-date Standard First Aid and CPR (Level C) certification (or are willing to obtain) and the successful completion of Vulnerable Police Records Check within the last 6 months.
