Superflux Beer Company is a mid-sized brewery located in Vancouver, BC. We specialize in IPAs, and other experimental beer styles. We are looking for kitchen staff at our busy brewery lounge and patio.
**Job description**
Are you passionate about beer & food? Do you like bringing creative ideas to life and delivering excellent customer experiences? We're seeking kitchen staff to join our team and help us do all of the above.
**Experience**:
- Restaurant/Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)
Job Duties:
- Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
- Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes and glassware by hand when necessary
- Unload dishes, silverware, and glassware promptly and store them in the appropriate places
- Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises
- Assist management and waitstaff as required, especially during peak hours
- Escalate major issues when necessary (e.g. safety risks, equipment failure)
- Other duties as requested
