Handover Coordinator

Dragados Canada, Inc., the Canadian construction arm of the ACS Group (one of the world’s largest international construction and engineering companies), is seeking a talented and experienced Handover Coordinator to join its dynamic and energetic team.

Dragados Canada was established in 2008 and has grown steadily into an industry-leader in Canada, with offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal, successfully performing a variety of large-scale transportation, bridge, dam, tunnel, and other major infrastructure projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure that the subcontractor quality and commissioning records, certificates, completion certificates, and documentation are created and compiled in compliance with the project specifications
- Coordinate with the planning and scheduling department to ensure milestone dates are understood for each turnover and handover area/system
- Collaborate with the project team to conclude the handover documentation
- Resolve any discrepancies between the completed milestone, quality and commissioning documentation.
- Provide turnover and handover progress information and reports as required
- Consider the implications of delays in documentation and bring to the attention of the project team
- Examine events, issues, and problems to generate optimal solutions in a timely manner

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar handover role
- Experience in large civil infrastructure project
- Experience on LRT/Rail projects is preferred
- Ability to work with shifting priorities and rapid change
- Motivated and goal-oriented
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Must have a valid G Driver’s license in good standing
- Flexibility to work some nights, overtime and weekends
