**Bold Futures Coordinator in KFL&A**

**Contract Length**:1 year

**Wage**:$23.61 - $27.48 per hour
**Schedule**:35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

**We are currently seeking a dedicated team member in KFL&A to assist with coordination, facilitation, and participant support in the Girls Inc. BOLD FUTURES for Women+ Employment Program. This is a 1-year contract position with an earliest start date of October 21, 2024, and an end date of January 2, 2026. There may be opportunities for extension or further employment beyond the contract period, contingent on available funding. Most responsibilities will be in-person at our Kingston program classroom or within the community, with some opportunities for remote work.**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop individual, solution-focused interventions to support participant success.
- Provide motivation and guidance to help participants address their barriers to employment.
- Coordinate and facilitate employment and life-skills workshops.
- Assist participants in securing work placements relevant to their employment goals.
- Collaborate with community partners and employers to foster positive placement opportunities.
- Provide education and guidance to employers on best practices for supporting individuals with disabilities in the workplace.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., Social Service Work, Social Work, Behavioural Science, Recreation Leadership, Therapeutic Recreation, Addictions, Mental Health).
- A valid Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check, is required.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is required.
- Access to reliable transportation is necessary to travel to clients, community partners, and transport supplies.
