Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, the Inside Sales Representative will have the primary responsibility of managing order intake, responding to requests for quotes, coordinating with production delivery times, requests for postponement or acceleration of orders on hand, and merchandise returns. In addition, they will offer the necessary support to sales managers and manufacturing representatives to ensure that they can carry out their canvassing, sales and after-sales service tasks.
**Essential Duties**:
- Maintain appropriate contact with customers, manufacturing representatives and sales managers to offer the appropriate level of service.
- Ask the client for information necessary to respond to requests for quotations.
- Bid on prices, minimum quantities required, delivery times and conditions of sale to customers meeting the company's various policies.
- Attach proper documentation to the quote, useful for the analysis of the latter as well as any documents that must be returned by the customer in order to accept a future order.
- Enter orders into the computer system.
- Follow up on orders accepted, in production and delivered if required.
- Ensure that documentation used in any transaction with customers is in accordance to the latest revision in effect;
- All other related duties related to the job.
**Knowledge and Skills Preferred**:
- DEC in sales and relevant representation or training.
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, customer service or any other relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of Office 365 suite.
- Bilingual in both French and English.
- Ability to work in a team environment (common room).
- Ability to work with different units of measurement (kilometers, thousand feet, exchange rates, etc.).
- Possess skills to provide excellent customer service.
- Have team spirit, ability to prioritize, and problem-solving skills.
**Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to work long hours in a sedentary position sitting, talking, looking at a computer, charts/graphs and performing repetitive motions.
- Ability to move objects and materials of at least 25lbs.
- Ability to collaborate with manufacturing team members as needed in an environment that can be noisy.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE when onsite.
