**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Reporting to the Chief People & Culture Officer, the Business Partner will oversee the HR business partnership for the Canada Team and enable function leaders in the Country to design People & Culture (P&C) strategies and initiatives aligned with the Foundation objectives. S/he will work as a trusted advisor to the Enabling Functions Leaders, enabling the achievement of their strategic plan and is accountable for creating a unified community in Canada. The role provides P&C support for all staff based in Canada, building Oneness across multiple functions. In addition, s/he oversees and manages the complete employee experience across the Foundation, including employee relations and engagement. The role is the primary contact for all Foundation staff in the location.

**WAYS YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE**
- Focal contact as advisor and coach for P&C activities for the function, Chiefs and support various talent initiatives including workforce planning, performance management, competency development, succession planning and recruitment for Head Level and above, among others, in liaison with other P&C Subject Matter Experts.
- Create a leadership community in Canada with a unified culture across all Enabling Functions and Program Executives.
- Maintain an effective level of business literacy to understand the Foundation's current and future needs and provide proactive support and services that align with those needs.
- Identify business issues and suggest creative solutions.
- Lead the implementation of P&C programs, processes, and plans for Canada.
- Work with the Canada Leaders team to support the preparation of people's budgets aligned with programs and function strategy and ensure delivery within employment budgets.
- Contribute to creating the P&C function strategy in close collaboration with CPCO and the broader P&C team.
- Own the People Plan for the relevant Functions and guide the Functional lead on the process.
- Collaborate with CoE to ensure that the workforce planning process, policies, and strategies fit the purpose.
- Identify new demand factors and workforce supply and Scoping and segmentation of the workforce.
- Facilitate organizational (re)design including defining new/revised organizations and operating models, determining accountabilities and responsibilities, job descriptions and leading functional effectiveness processes and routines (e.g., RACI, process reviews, oneness initiatives).
- Assess change, support research, build change and communications plans, and facilitate the execution of change by interfacing with business stakeholders and ensuring alignment.
- Support leaders in forecasting and planning their functional talent pipeline requirements per the Functional and Foundation strategy.
- Maintains the organization structures for the Functions.
- Partner with P&C COE to implement the functional talent management interventions to fulfill functional strategic objectives, as defined by the Enabling Functions BP.
- Lead talent management programs for Canada teams, including talent reviews, robust talent, succession, scenario planning, and support functional talent management interventions as defined by Enabling functions BP.
