**NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION**

Responsible for the onsite operations, maintenance, repairs, and replacement of equipment at the KEMONT & Des Cultures wind farms located in St Rémi (Québec), to maximize electricity generation to fullest extent possible. Providing support to hydroelectric operations occasionally.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible of wind turbines maintenance.
- Comply with all environmental health and safety programs.
- Test, troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions or failure (thermography, load test, etc.) of electrical, instrumentation, communication (internet/Modbus etc.) or mechanical issues for equipment under operation such as teleprotection relays, battery systems, distribution panel, breakers/disconnects.
- Maintain electrical drawings, equipment files, sketches, reports, logs and records.
- Perform site health and safety, environment, and asset management inspections as per requirements (daily readings, etc.).
- Any maintenance and tasks to support the operations.
- Assist with BOP, collector network and other site inspections.
- Coordinate external work with contractors and support supervisor in the oversight of contract work.
- Perform and oversee vegetation management of the site.
- Maintain and repair physical surroundings, including vehicles & warehouse.**
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Diploma in Electromechanics or equivalent, with wind industry experience.

**SKILLS AND** **A** **BILITIES**
- Ability to climb 100-meter steel tower.
- Ability to self-manage workload and work alone.
- Ability to work around low and medium voltage.
- Ability to frequently lift items weighing 1 to 60 pounds and occasionally lift items up to 100 pounds.
- Possession of writing skills to meet reporting obligations.
- Willing to work schedule, overtime, on holidays, weekends, call in and on short notice.
- Willing to travel for work periodically, including stay overnight.
- Ability to work around low and medium voltage.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

**LANGUAGES**
- Excellent knowledge of French, bilingual with second language of English is preferred.
