**Job Objective**

The primary objective of the Coordinator, Asset Management is to ensure that all asset management activities, as covered under the contract and statement of work (SoW), are delivered effectively and efficiently including but not limited to the planning, implementing and monitoring of our client’s corporate assets (IT hardware and software), inventory management, and assisting with determining standards, objectives, schedules, and procurement strategies.

Working with the account Senior Service Delivery Manager to ensure the clients asset management policies, procedures and guidelines are met and validates that they are being followed within our IT support services team. Provides continuous improvement feedback to the delivery team on ensuring inventory and asset quality assurance, control, and risk mitigation for asset availability.

**Qualifications**
- A degree, diploma, or equivalent years of experience in Information Technology.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience successfully managing and delivering the management of IT Assets.
- A solid knowledge and understanding of the principles, theories, concepts and practices of asset and inventory management and reporting.
- A clear and solid understanding of all phases of the IT Asset Lifecycle
- A clear and solid understanding of key asset management concepts such as, for example, the difference between IT Asset Management and Service Configuration Management
- ITIL certification will be considered an asset (ITIL v3, v4)
- ITAM certification will be considered an asset (CAMP, CITAM)
- Strong written & verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively internally within a team and externally to clients.
- The ability to understand the Customer's business and how IT contributes to the successful delivery of their products or services.
- The ability to successfully interact with all levels of the Customer organization as well as the Managed Service provider teams.
- A passion for delivering highly effective, customer focused services.
- Proven history of influencing outcomes, attaining results, driving issues to closure and achieving challenging goals.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Supporting the client’s asset lifecycle and refresh activities.
- Supporting the client’s asset and inventory management activities.
- Asset and inventory management and reporting.
- Supporting the clients supply chain objectives.
- Performing inventory checks and reporting status.
- Reviewing and updating all asset service delivery related documentation, as related to but not limited to inventory workflows, runbooks, and processes for accuracy and completeness.
- Identifying, analyzing, and escalating any gaps in asset and inventory management workflows.
- Timely and high-quality resolution of any asset management related client escalation.
