**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Duties**:

- This role in Security & Emergency Management provides program and operational reporting, data
- and information management, analytics, and process improvement.
- Specific responsibilities in this role include:
- Provide program and compliance-related assurance and sustainment activities across security

and emergency management programs including data collection, analysis, reporting, as defined in
- standards-based workflow, with strong attention to detail. Reviews source data and follows up with
- team to ensure integrity of data. Prepares ad-hoc reports as requested. Highlighting areas of
- concern or trends requiring further investigation for team and management.- Identifies, analyzes, develops, prepares and presents new and revised SEM processes,

procedures and related documentation, including the preparation of process maps, charts and
- workflows for new and current processes.- Identifies, evaluates and recommends opportunities for the continuous improvement of

processes and procedures, controls, decision-making and reporting to management. Assists with
- implementation support activities as directed by management.- Coordinates the implementation of approved new and revised SEM processes and procedures.

Creates, revises process maps, charts, reference material. Monitors adherence to new and
- revised processes and procedures. Prepares communications, remedial training and enhanced
- documentation to address deficiencies.- Gather, report and summarize data for security and compliance-related investigations, including

adherence to privacy policies.- Conduct security-related reviews on open-source platforms and identify potential security-related
- risks, threats or issues of note. Information is shared with security team members accordingly.- Reviews, processes and routes invoices to management for approval, in SAP. Identifies

invoicing discrepancies and follows-up with vendor for clarification. Escalates invoicing
- discrepancies to management for follow-up as required.- Maintain user access and permissions within the SEM group to shared network drives,

HydroShare or other controlled files based on established business rules.- Complete audits of physical key inventories, working with key coordinators and managers across

the province to ensure information is accurate and adherence to physical key program
- requirements.- Performs duties of a minor nature related to the above duties that do not affect the rating of the

job.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree or experience in relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and

experience.- Ability to obtain security clearance for a Security Sensitive Position classification.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant security and/or reliability compliance/audit experience in the

electric utility industry.- Ability to analyze, develop and prepare new and revised processes, procedures and

documentation.- Experience working in a dynamic and reactive environment with the ability to juggle new

priorities in with existing priorities to ensure the most important compliance activity is delivered on
- time, including ability to delegate and attain assistance from others.- Experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control Program would be valuable.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Knowledge and ability to use data visualization software (such as Tableau).
- Excellent data extraction and manipulation skills using Excel (including pivot tables) and

Sharepoint, and process development using Visio.- Knowledge of procurement, invoicing processes and procedures and supply chain management

system.- Excellent relationship management, collaboration and interpersonal skills.

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
- This is a full-time temporary opportunity for approximately 12 months, based out of our Horne

Payne office (Burnaby location).
- Please note a condition of employment for this role is to maintain your Class 5 Driver's License

in good standing.
