Greater Sudbury, Canada Skater's Edge Source for Sports Full time

Are you a self-starting, creative, hardworking, and collaborative individual? Skater’s Edge Source for Sports is seeking a full-time Marketing and Community Engagement Coordinator to join their team for a 12 month contract.

Monday - Friday, hybrid work model. Potential evenings and / or weekends as required based on business needs (i.e. sales, events, etc.)

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute against annual social media and marketing strategies.
- Lead all marketing reporting, including providing monthly updates to management and team leads with recommendations for optimization and growth.
- Create and curate daily engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, and Linkedin.
- Create and implement social media campaigns aligned with brand standards and business objectives, including videos, Reels, IG Lives, Tiktok and others as relevant.
- Create and edit visual assets such as photography and videos for social media using Canva, CapCut and iMovie.
- Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries, comments, and feedback, and respond in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key partners to create and coordinate events within Skater’s Edge Source for Sports.
- Communicate and engage with community partners on various social media campaigns.
- Coordinator in-store marketing (update banners, create and display posters, etc.).
- Develop digital and physical marketing material to support sales and marketing initiatives.
- Utilize analytical tools on various social media platforms to understand the effectiveness and implement growth strategies for both paid and organic content.
- Liaise with suppliers’ marketing departments to ensure alignment (ex: promote new products in a timely manner, share content, etc.).
- Liaise with local sporting teams and associations to plan and coordinate various marketing campaigns.
- Liaise with the web team to ensure marketing strategies align.
- Maintain e-commerce platform by adding majority of in store products to Shopify.
- Maintain and update all aspects related to Google analytics (ex: pictures, store hours, etc.).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing and digital advertising.
- Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok.
- Proficiency with editing tools including CapCut, iMovie, Canva, Adobe.
- Proficiency with Google Ads and Meta Business Suite.
- Familiar with Shopify platform.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop innovative social media campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
- Demonstrate positive work record and good attendance.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
