This summer 2024, we are offering an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team. _**This position is a quality job placement under the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program**_

**About the Role**:
As the Marketing Coordinator for our Summer Jobs Program, you will play a crucial role in advancing our marketing and fundraising initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to increase awareness of BLFA's mission and programs.
- Plan and execute fundraising campaigns aligned with BLFA's organizational goals and objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, providing regular updates on the impact of their contributions and organizing appreciation initiatives.
- Coordinate fundraising events, both virtual and in-person, ensuring seamless execution and maximum participation.
- Create visually appealing promotional materials, such as brochures, flyers, and presentations, to effectively communicate BLFA's mission and impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to enhance fundraising efforts and maximize outreach.
- Track and analyze the performance of marketing and fundraising initiatives, preparing regular reports on key metrics and outcomes.

**Requirements**:

- **Enrolled in a recognized Canadian Post-Secondary institution, **pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, including advanced knowledge of Visual Basics Analysis and Macros.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management.
- Passionate about social justice and making a positive impact in contributing to our mission of empowerment and compassion.
- Ability to speak both French and English is an asset but not required.

**About You**:
(a) **You are between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment**

(b) You are a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or a person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act [S.C. 2001, c. 27], and

(c) You are legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations. International students are not eligible, but recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents.
