**Position Description**

**Procurement Manager**

The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement activities within the Company and its affiliated companies, ensuring that materials, equipment, and services are acquired at the best possible price and quality. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that procurement processes align with the company’s standards and project timelines.

**Key Responsibilities **include but are not limited to**:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies that are aligned with project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers and manage contracts accordingly.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements during the procurement process.
- Resolve any contract disputes or issues with suppliers in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to forecast material needs and prevent shortages or delays.
- Implement and manage inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
- Work closely with the finance team to manage the procurement budget and track expenditures.
- Provide regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and budget variances.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new products or materials that could benefit the company.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement, including supply chain disruptions and supplier non
- compliance.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned to meet business unit and organizational objectives.

**Position Requirements**

**Educational & Professional Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and services is highly desirable.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
