**Position Description**:
**Here's What You'll Get To Do**
- Lead the coordination of a multi-provincial study on prenatal opioid exposure
- Independently conduct and coordinate systematic and scoping reviews.
- Contribute to child health equity studies.
- Contribute to the writing of literature reviews, summarize evidence, and contribute to policy briefs and other outputs (i.e., op-eds), and lead in report preparation, presentations, abstracts, manuscripts.
- Assist scientific and research staff in producing and summarizing project results.
- Actively participate in Leong Centre meetings, lab meetings of scientific staff, and educational rounds to acquire and disseminate knowledge and profile research.
**Here's What You'll Need**
- ** Essential**: Master's degree in Epidemiology, Health Science, Public Health, or a related field with a minimum of two years of experience in a research environment.
- Experience conducting literature searches and evidence reviews.
- Proven skills in writing research proposals and grants.
- Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to learn new skills.
- Self-directed with the ability to function independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a timely manner and flexibility to adapt to changing workload.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, facilitation and project management skills.
- Knowledge of the principles of the social determinants of health and health equity is an asset.
- A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity and inclusion objectives
- A hybrid arrangement is supported, but some in-person work at the Leong Centre will be required.
