**Key Responsibilities**

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Effective Communication: Ensure clear, concise, and accurate communication to maintain effective store operations.
- Team Environment: Foster a positive team environment by recognizing changes in team morale and performance, and communicating them to the store manager.
- Integrity and Values: Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote Heart Pharmacy's culture and values. Maintain a calm demeanor during high-volume periods or unusual events, setting a positive example for the team.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their needs and the needs of the community, ensuring our service exceeds their expectations.
- Consistency and Punctuality: Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Customer-First Attitude: Model a customer-first attitude, delivering legendary customer service and supervising the team to do the same.
- Creative Solutions: Communicate innovative ideas to the store manager for broader areas of improvement and impact.
- Recognition and Support: Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments using existing tools and recommend new, creative methods of recognition to the store manager.
- Coaching and Mentorship: Act as a coach and mentor to the team, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance, and recommending employment decisions to the store manager.
- Operational Policies: Follow operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety, to ensure a safe environment for all.
- Leadership Duties: Organize opening and closing duties as assigned, ensuring smooth transitions between shifts.

**Qualifications**
- Retail Experience: Progressively responsible retail experience.
- Customer Service: Strong background in customer service within a retail environment.
- Leadership: Experience in directing the work of others and acting with a customer-first attitude.
- Communication: Effective oral communication skills and the ability to use discretion in providing direction.
- Retail Knowledge: Solid understanding of the retail environment and strong problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and lead a cohesive team.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, adapting to new challenges and opportunities.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
