**Responsibilities include**:
Transcribe digital dictation, create documents from standard forms or handwritten notes, or edit various legal documents.
Maintain lawyers' calendar and contacts, schedule client appointments as directed and arrange travel schedules as necessary.
Organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete these tasks under time constraints.
Perform client conflict checking, open new client matters and maintain established files.
Prepare client billings, respond to billing inquiries and co-ordinate with clients on billing preferences.
Maintain an efficient manual and electronic file system.
Possess strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
A client-focused approach and commitment to providing exceptional service to internal and external clients.

**Qualifications include**:
Graduate of a recognized Legal Assistant Program (equivalencies will be considered)
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an active litigation practice
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and document management software
Experience working on Federal Court Filings would be an asset
