**What you'll be doing...**:
This is a supervisory role blended with the ability to assist in maturing project management practices in BC Transit.

Guided by the organizational Vision of being your best transportation solution and the Mission of delivering transportation services you can rely on, the Technology Projects Supervisor provides leadership and coaching to Project Managers, Business Analysts, Project Coordinators, and Budget Analysts.

As an experienced nurturer of people’s careers you will be responsible for developing your team, utilizing your demonstrated experience in Project Management to empower them to deliver technology projects on time, on budget and in-scope; embodying BC Transit’s commitment to responsible stewardship and innovation.

As a key member of the Technology Portfolio Management leadership team, you will also support the Manager, Technology Project Delivery in developing technology project management best practices.

**What you'll bring to the table...**:

- Demonstrated experience directly supervising or managing technology staff, including coaching and development, recruiting and performance management; with a preference given to those who have experience in a Unionized (or similar) environment
- Demonstrated experience as a Program or Project Manager successfully leading and managing technology projects - specifically in Infrastructure, Software Implementation and Mobility within government (or a similarly large agency) focused on the delivery of high value capital projects involving innovative technology, multiple partners, public procurement, contract negotiations and change leadership

Any of the following certifications would be considered an asset, though are not essential:

- A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent training
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or equivalent training
- Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP) or equivalent training
