Irving Shipbuilding Inc. is seeking a **Material Planner**.**

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Post Secondary Degree in business administration, engineering, or related disciplines required.

o Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Previous experience in a production environment is preferred.
- Proven ability to achieve high performance levels in a complex fast-moving environment.
- Proven experience adapting to new computer programs and systems.
- Previous work with an MRP system is preferred.
- All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)._

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure material is available and ordered prior to starting a construction unit.
- Update weekly material reports.
- Attend weekly status meetings on material availability in support of the production schedule.
- Enter material status within MRP system daily.
