**Description**

**General Information**:
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for its Varennes plant. Reporting to the Senior Business Partner, the HRBP will support the organization in improving human resources and the company’s growth.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accompany and guide managers in context to labor relations with the goal of maintaining a positive work climate, particularly through the rapid and effective resolution of labor relations issues
- Foster relationships to collaborate on performance and disciplinary management, health and safety as well as legal issues (labor law, employment contracts, termination, etc.)
- Be a key player in the deployment of the strategic plan, notably by improving our retention rate while becoming an employer of choice, for our current employees and for the community at large.

**Qualifications**:

- Team player, leadership, and thoroughness
- Decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills combined with the ability to coach and advise stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication
- Planning and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management or industrial relations
- Minimum 3 years of experience in human resources management
- Fluency in French and English.
- Permanent, full-time, daytime position from Monday to Friday
