**Service Writer**

Calgary Cycle (Bow Trail Location) - Calgary, AB

Calgary Cycle is a premiere bicycle shop with two locations in Calgary and one in Bragg Creek. If you are passionate about cycling (mountain, road, commuting, lifestyle, etc.), we have an immediate opening for a full time Service Writer.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Be a spokesperson for Calgary Cycle and present yourself in a positive manner to customers
- Provide exceptional customer service each and every day
- Be the key point of contact for customer repairs as they progress through making an appointment, checking in bikes, following up on repair issues, and checking out bikes upon completion of service
- Answer customer questions including conducting research and/or directing them to more experienced staff when required
- Maintain a clean work environment that is both welcoming for customers and provides a safe space to conduct our business in
- Build positive working relationships with other groups including the Mechanics and Sales People

**What You Need**:

- High energy level and enjoy working in a fast paced, challenging and changing environment
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with the public in a courteous, efficient and professional manner
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Well organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks on a daily basis
- Team player who works well as a member of a group
- Self-starter who is inspired to perform without outside help
- This job does require the physical ability to frequently move and lift bicycles and equipment

**Note that this job includes shifts that can include weekends, evenings and holidays**

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
