**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**
The Amelia Douglas Institute (ADI) Manager is a unique and exciting opportunity to support the development of the new Amelia Douglas Institute for Métis Culture and Language. MNBC’s Ministry of Culture, Heritage and Language currently serves as secretariat for the ADI. As a member of the Ministry team, the ADI Manager will be responsible for supporting the Ministry’s role as secretariat in leading the continued growth and operations of the ADI. This involves developing operational policies, systems, and procedures; working with the ADI board; supervising and maintaining the ADI’s physical location in Surrey; and securing funding and resources to sustainably build ADI’s operational capacity. The ADI Manager will work closely with other Ministry staff to develop ADI exhibitions and seek opportunities and resources to grow the ADI’s physical and virtual programs and initiatives.
