The Training Manager will support the Operations team by ensuring all training materials enable our restaurants to deliver brand consistency. They will be responsible for ensuring a consistent and best in class approach to menu and service related launches. They are involved in New Restaurant Openings, Restaurant Leadership Certification, Trainer Development, Critical Path to Openings and all Opening Resources. As part of their role, the Training Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Brand content is current. This Manager will also be responsible for taking on new projects as per the needs of the business and will facilitate and support Instructor-led courses and meetings.

**What you will do in this role**:

- Owns the development, implementation and sustainability of all training programs and initiatives
- Develops, deploys and sustains food and menu related training tools
- Implements, monitors and sustains the brand’s Restaurant Leadership Certification program
- Accountable for conducting a quarterly gap analysis to validate content on the Brand Portal and Learning Management System
- Supports Brand Marketing leads with all training related Marketing and Menu launch requests requiring training support
- Successful development and implementation of New Restaurant Opening process, tools and resources while also overseeing the organization of opening training teams, expenses, payroll and administration
- Responsible for all new restaurant opening annual budgets
- Successfully onboard new Franchisees to the business
- Tracking & Consolidation of the Training Department annual budget
- Supports our cross functional teams with all training related requests, which supports restaurant tests, new product development and equipment innovation
- Leads the development of a calibration program that recertifies Managers and Associates prior to a Restaurant Renovation
- Facilities training seminars as required by the Operations team
- Responsible for Training Excellence at Corporate training centers

**What we are looking for from you**:

- 3+ years restaurant general manager experience
- Ability to develop training tools; Instructional design experience is an asset
- Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Project management skills are an asset
- Able to identify gaps and action opportunities
- Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations and systems
- Excellent planning and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to coordinate, communicate and balance multiple projects simultaneously
- Forward thinker and motivated to make change
