**The Role**:
As the buyer, you are responsible to; source, negotiate and expedite raw materials, supplies and services as required.

**Major Duties**:

- Research and source suppliers and negotiate prices, terms of agreement, and deliveries.
- Reviews weekly recommended purchase reports and issues releases to cover raw material requirements.
- Determining purchasing needs based on sales numbers.
- Negotiate price decreases to meet budgeted cost reduction targets.
- Liaising with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received.
- Monitoring inventory levels and writing purchase orders to refill stock.
- Participate in daily cycle counts as required.
- Updating all records of purchased products.
- Track orders to ensure timely delivery.

**Requirements**:

- High School Diploma
- P.C. Literate - word processing, spreadsheets
- Negotiation skills
- Understanding of supply chain procedures

**The Shift**:

- Full-time, 40 hours per week

**Wage**:

- **Wage will be dependent on experience and skill level**

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

- Stratford, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
