**About Us**

Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. Utilities around the world rely on our nuclear fuel products to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco’s corporate office is based in Saskatoon. We have mining operations and projects in northern Saskatchewan, Kazakhstan, the United States and Australia. We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.

**The Role**

As part of the technical services department, you will report into the principal resource geologist and have a good working knowledge of geology and mining. You will work collaboratively in a team environment and the work you do will require attention to details, consistency, patience.

**In this role, you will**:

- Perform the various tasks required to assemble, validate, adjust, update and manage the databases used for geological interpretation, resource modelling, reserves and resources inventory and production reconciliation
- Be responsible for comprehensive geological interpretation and modelling of orebodies on section, plans and in 3D
- Maintain and insure compliance with QA/QC programs, SOX & NI 43-101 requirements
- Collect production data from all mine sites and monitor production performance vs model expectations Establish, monitor and review drilling programs to delineate mineralized bodies

**Required**:

- Bachelors degree in geology or geological engineering
- Minimum of three to five years of relevant work experience
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
- P. Geo, P. Geo-in-training, P. Eng or P. Eng-in-training registration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Excellent written, communication, computer, data analysis and compilation skills
- Occasional travel to site by aircraft

**Recommended**:

- Maptek Vulcan or other mining software package experience
- Experience with JMP or other statistical software package
- Experience with acQuire centralized databases
- Knowledge of uranium mineralization settings or other relevant experience
- Previous experience in an exploration or mining work environment
