A day in the role of a Dietary Associate at The Carlisle.

As a Dietary Associate at The Carlisle, you will be given high expectations, as well as an expectation to continue personal growth and professional growth. In this position, you will be gifted with a rewarding experience every day in the form of being able to see the exact impact you place on our residents.

The Dietary Associate distributes and serves Residents food and beverages in accordance with Lifetimes Living Inc. policies and individual’s needs and preferences and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

**This position is responsible for but not limited to**:
- Serves and delivers meals to Residents in a pleasant and courteous manner,- Assists the cook in preparing and plating of food as requested,- Ensures the Residents’ likes and dislikes are respected and knows and adheres to special dietary requirements of the Residents,- Cleans serveries, tables, food storage area, fridges and freezers as required,- Removes dirty dishes from tables and cleans and resets tables,- Loads, operates and empties dishwasher,- Works collaboratively with all Food Services and other departments associates,- assists in the FIFO process of food and supply products- Damp mops floors and vacuums as necessary,- Maintains a safe working environment,- Attends associate education as required,
- Duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of a recognized Food Handler training program is preferred,- Knowledgeable about proper food handling and storage procedures,- Ability to understand and follow orders so as to serve food correctly and attractively,- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,- Must be empathetic,- Is a competent person as defined by the Occupational Health & Safety Act,- Must have a clear vulnerable sector screen, no older than 6 months, TB test results less than 6 months old, must be able to provide three supervisory references.
