**Join Inertia's growing Management Team as the Health Safety & Environment Manager (Maternity Leave Coverage)**

This is a safety sensitive position requiring pre-employment drug & alcohol testing (including cannabis) as well as a valid drivers license. This role is based out of our Edmonton Branch but will require travel and overnight stays to our corporate headquarters in Calgary 2 to 4 times a month.

**Requirements**:

- Safety certifications (NCSO, CRSP, NEBOSH and/ or 3+ years experience in a similar role).
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Ability to work varying work hours, including weekends and evenings to assist if any incidents or safety needs arise.
- Ability to travel and support both branch locations (Calgary and Edmonton).

**Responsibilities**:

- Daily management team meetings and updates on safety performance.
- Quarterly HSE statistics and trending reports for management review.
- Prequalifications for future and current clients on an ongoing basis.
- Incident investigation, support and guidance for all levels of incidents.
- Site inspections and behaviour based safety observations on staff at both branches.
- Complete and submit monthly contractor safety related reports.
- Develop and deliver monthly safety meetings at both branches in conjunction with other members of the team.
- Complete quarterly and monthly ISN, Comply Works and Avetta updates.
- Maintain COR standards and conduct internal audits as per COR certification requirements.
- Provide guidance on legislation and ensure Inertia is always in compliance.
- Other duties as required.

**Must have HSE Management experience and Hydrovac industry experience is an asset**

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
