Our counselling centre’s work is client-centered and attachment-informed, done within an anti-oppressive framework. From this context, the position of Clinical Therapist will offer psychotherapy to individuals, couples and groups through our counselling centre.

A part-time version of this role could compliment a private practice. This position could include a hybrid of in-person and virtual clinical work.

**Position**:we are willing to discuss both part-time or full-time positions, up to 35 hours a week. This position includes one early evening per week.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide counselling to individuals, couples, families and groups through Shalem’s Counselling Centre in Hamilton
- Maintain client files
- Participate in regular supervision, training and team meetings

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in social sciences or acceptable equivalent
- Registered member of the applicable college in Ontario and is eligible to practice independently in Ontario
- 2 years minimum experience
- Experience with couple therapy an asset, or opportunities for future training in couple therapy
- Ability to tend to themes of diversity and anti-oppression

**Reporting**: This position reports to the Clinical Director

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10 - 35 per week

**Salary**: $32.00-$36.00 per hour
