**Job Title:  **Pharmacy Clerk
**Location:  **Ottawa, ON
**Reports to:  **Pharmacy Manager
**No. of Positions:  **1
**Type:  **Casual (**MONDAY-FRIDAY **no weekends or nights)
**Salary:  **Hourly

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receiving prescriptions with asking required (by OCP) patient information.
- Clerical duties including completing all records, documentation and patient or third party billings/charges, preparing receipts, invoices, letters, memos and general filling
- Demonstrating excellent customer service skills at the cash area
- Operating cash register and handling credit/debit card usage
- Assisting Pharmacy Manager and pharmacists by answering patient inquiries and requests over the phones
- Verifying patient's info and refills in Kroll
- Performing duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Previous pharmacy experience an asset
- Knowledge of Kroll software, data entry strong asset
- Retail pharmacy experience would be considered an asset
- Bilingualism is an asset

**Skills**:

- High level of attention to detail, accuracy and productivity
- Reliability, strong communication, customer service, initiative, team work, interpersonal skills are essential
