**Position: Load Planner (Part-Time & Full-Time, Contract position available)**
**Primary Objective of the Position**:
The successful applicant will develop load plans while ensuring the safe and efficient use of aircraft.
**Essential Position Functions**:
- Ensure accurate and safe load information is presented to flight crew.
- Ensure maximum utilization of space on all flights.
- Communicate all relevant load information to down line stations, Cargo Movement Control & management.
- Audit all load information to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Compile all container and containerized and loose cargo information onto a load plan worksheet.
- Planning of nightly warehouse breakdown.
- Contact customers and retrieve information applicable to nightly volume.
- Assembly of nightly shift package, which contains all pertinent information.
- Advise customers of delays to applicable flights.
- Assist Customer Service and the Station Manager as required.
- Send detailed reports in regard to flight delays or other operational issues.
- Will also be required to assist with breakdown and buildup of cargo
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Dangerous Goods training required if selected.
