We are looking for a Financial Analyst for our Insurance Brokers division, NACORA Insurance based in Mississauga.
- ** Your Role **:As a vital member of our insurance brokerage team at Nacora, reporting to the National Branch Manager, you'll have the opportunity to provide daily support for cash receipts and payments. Also, you'll be an important contributor to our accounting team, assisting the manager with several tasks to ensure smooth financial operations. With your expertise, you'll help us maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely payments to our clients and vendors. - ** Your Responsibilities**:

- Handle incoming payments from clients, payments and bank reconciliation
- Uploading reconciled Bank data to ACON
- Send reports to Producers associated with Nacora and GFH
- Accounts Payable reconciliation/ filling and issuing payments to insurance companies, use of multiple insurer's online broker portals
- Create list of billing errors and sending to Dept. Managers monthly
- Provide Accounting information to association
- Submit month end reports to parent company accounting
- Support Accounting Manager in month end conversion data from SIG to ACON
- Learn the process of data conversion to become backup for Manager
- Help prepare accounting forecasts and analysing the variances

**Your Skills and Experiences**:

- Experience in Accounting Department of insurance brokerage
- College or university Accounting Degree
- CPA designation is beneficial
