Looking for an Administrative Assistant to mainly focus on Health and Safety, HR related duties. Will be working directly with HR Manager who has other various duties in upper management.

Day shift Monday-Friday between 9:30-2:30 hours but can flex a bit according to personal needs.

Company is a group of companies, largely Fuel and Aviation related companies.

There are off-site company locations (Stratford, Mitchell, London, Kitchener) that may require travel so vehicle required for job duties. Most duties can be done through computer programs.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Work with HR Manager to coordinate and review HR processes
- Enroll new employees in HR programs and Benefits, assist with Orientation processes
- Organize and maintain Employee Files and training
- Schedule meetings as necessary and communicate with appropriate managers
- Prepare for various inspections with assistance of HR Manager and Management team
- Review and prepare some reports for Payroll Dep.
- Communicate with Payroll Dep. as required
- Assist HR Manager prepare new company Policies and Procedures
- Assist other upper Management with adminstrative duties as assigned and directed by HR Manager

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Should consider themselves personable and good in a team environment
- While having a positive deamener is great, also consider ability to deal with providing constructive critisism a necessity.
- Ability to deal with confidential matters
- High School Diploma or greater
- Some Administrative type experience an asset
- Skill with computer programs - excel, word, powerpoint required
- Strong abilitiy to learn new computer programs required
- Comfortable in fast-paced environment and stressful environment (incidents are stressful to deal with; negative feedback to employees is stressful)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to act professionally in difficult scenerios.

Starting wage for this position is 18/hr.
New position, so 25hrs/wk. If more hours become available, they will be offered but not required.
Benefits for this position will be offered after 3 month probationary period completed.

Part-time hours: 25 per week
