**As a Design Specialist for our Furniture, Equipment and Design (“ED FED”) team, you will**:

- Specify materials, dimensions, and finishes for each FF&E item, ensuring that they meet the project's functional and aesthetic requirements.
- Create space plans using typicals allowing client to visualize overall project scope
- Assist with procuring FF&E items, including order entry, and creating purchase orders
- Secure/manage pricing and furniture quotes based on the design and FF&E selections
- Collaborate with the project management team on furniture specifications and budget
- Prepare bill of material for client sign off on furniture order
- Translate the furniture plans into specifications for order submission
- Attend client meetings, site visits & perform inventory checks as required
- Liaise with consultants and trades, as necessary, to review and ensure spatial and electrical requirements align
- Participate in the preparation of the specifications and assist with the coordination of the FF&E, interior architecture plans, finishes, and products.
- Prepare and support client design presentations/collaboration sessions
- Collaborate with internal project team to review project milestones to ensure we meet customer expectations and project goals.
- Participate in product training and learning, new product research

**Is this role right for you?**
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or similar
- You have 3-5 years of relevant experience
- You are proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- You have previous experience/knowledge of Configura CET and 2020 CAP
- Knowledge of SketchUp and AutoCAD/Revit is an added asset
- Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) knowledge an asset
- You have a strong sense of graphic layout and visual skills to best communicate design ideas
- You have exceptional communication and presentation skills (written and interpersonal)
- You have excellent organizational and time-management skill
- You are able to adapt and work on multiple projects at once
- You are able for travel to client sites
- You are self-motivated and able to work independently as well as engage with team
- You are Organized and able to (re)prioritize tasks as needed with confidence
