Heavy Cooling Tower Service Inc. (HCTS) is a full-service provider within the cooling tower industry located in Hamilton, Ontario. We understand the need for cooling towers to be cleaned more regularly and more efficiently. In light of recent news, HCTS has begun emphasizing the importance of maintaining a clean, bacteria-free cooling tower system. The ramifications of not taking such actions include human health hazards such as diseases, sickness and even death.

HCTS goes the extra mile to record and store all our client’s service and preventative maintenance records on our cloud server. This can include before/after pictures, repair records & other historical data.

**ABOUT THE JOB**

As an Estimator at HCTS you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our projects. You'll be at the forefront of project planning, utilizing your expertise to analyze specifications, source materials, and develop accurate estimates. This role offers a dynamic environment where you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, build strong relationships with suppliers, and contribute to the seamless execution of projects.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**PROJECT ANALYSIS**:

- Review and assess project specifications to identify accurate project requirements of various sizes and complexities.
- Analyze project scope, materials, labor, and equipment needs to ensure comprehensive understanding.

**SOURCING AND PRICING**:

- Efficiently source parts, labor, and rental equipment pricing for projects.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards.

**ESTIMATING**:

- Prepare and send estimates to clients in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Perform follow-ups on estimates to address client inquiries and secure project opportunities.

**SITE ASSESSMENT**
- Attend site meetings to assess the scope of work, gather relevant information, and address potential challenges.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure accurate estimations.

**PROJECT COORDINATION**:

- Assist in organizing schedules and project planning to meet customer expectations and timelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.

**DOCUMENTATION AND PROCUREMENT**:

- Generate purchase orders and work orders for subcontractors, ensuring clear communication of project specifications.
- Order materials and rental equipment for projects, monitoring delivery schedules to meet project timelines.

**DATABASE MANAGEMENT**:

- Utilize and maintain internal databases and tracking sheets to accurately record project details, estimates, and procurement information.
- Ensure data integrity and accessibility for team members.

**SUPPLIER RELATIONS**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate efficient procurement processes.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues and optimize procurement operations.

**TEAM COLLABORATION**:

- Participate as a key team player by providing support to operations as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and deliver exceptional customer service.

**TO JOIN OUR TEAM**:

- You have a valid “G” license.
- You have the ability to lift 50 lbs.
- The ability to use power tools.
- Able to work at heights.
- Able to work in confined spaces.

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge/ experience in sales and customer service.
- Time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work well with mínimal supervision.
- Organization and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Office 365 an asset.
- Experience working with cooling towers an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $52,000.00-$68,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
