**BUSINESS SYSTEM ANALYST**:
The Corporate Services Branch is looking for a Business System Analyst for an indeterminate position. The position is classified as an RÉ-06 ($83,979 to $113,423 per annum).

**DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION**

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**:
**EDUCATION**: A university degree with specialization in the field of Information Technology, Business Analysis or in a related discipline, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to the position.

**EXPERIENCE**: A minimum of five (5) years of experience in each of the following criteria:
- Providing business analysis expertise on requirements gathering and documentation, functional design documentation, analysis of options, change management, communication, configuration setup, testing and training;
- Analyzing and documenting user requests, troubleshooting issues, conducting business process reviews, proposing innovative solutions, managing cases with users and vendors, presenting recommendations, and implementing/configuring solutions to meet client needs;
- Leading, managing and coordinating digital transformations projects from requirement gathering to implementation, providing user support and the business perspective to the development of a system, and performing quality assurance testing and planning;
- Conducting group presentations, facilitating discussions, providing training, communicating with end-users and governance committee, and providing regular updates on project activities;
- Implementing and/or supporting corporate systems; more specifically in financial and procurement operations, project accounting and assets management.

**KNOWLEDGE**
- Of business analysis tools and best practices to confidently utilize them for elicitation, analysis and documentation of business and technical needs;
- Of key business processes and accounting cycle;
- Of project management and system lifecycle methodologies;
- Of trends, tools and developments in delivery of IT systems and practices.

**ABILITIES**
- To identify and understand business problems and to translate those problems into requirements for working solutions;
- To lead, plan, organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and other project activities;
- Strong functional and technical skills in conducting acceptance testing with users;
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills coupled with strong consultation skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
