5 Star Services and Products Inc. is excited to announce we are searching for a Formals Sales Associate at our Edmonton location.

**Responsibilities**
- Creating a welcoming environment by greeting all customers as they walk through the doors
- Greet and welcome clients, recommend merchandise based on individual requirements.
- Providing excellent customer service by ensuring the customer takes priority and answering any questions they have
- Maximizing sales opportunities to achieve store targets
- Maintaining consistent visual merchandising and housekeeping standards
- Ensuring adherence to operating and security procedures at all times
- Keeping knowledge up-to-date of all collections, product information, promotions, and rewards programs at all times
- Executing opening and closing procedures
- Ability to multitask, and serve multiple customers at a time while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business while delivering a great Derks customer experience
- Performing measurements to ensure customers receive a perfect fit
- Answer customer questions/concerns in person and by phone.
- Sorting clothing accessories and shipments
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
- Physical demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Minimum of 2 year retail sales experience in high volume store
- Proven ability to achieve sales goals and create productive client relationships
- Strong ability to use various POS systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Teams
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Must be dependable
- Strong attention to detail

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25-30 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
