We are currently recruiting for a Prototype Coordinator to work in its Global Headquarters located in Acton, ON, Canada.

**About the role**:
Responsible for providing support to the New Product Development team as it relates to new and ongoing developments, the **Prototype Coordinator** is accountable for the coordination of activities needed to ensure that samples are sent to appropriate internal and external partners in an efficient and timely manner as well as communicating to internal and external factories on the quantity of samples needed for specific tasks.

This role will understand the status of new prototypes through regular communication with Research and Development and Product Development teams and keep other stakeholders i.e., sales management team in the loop on the projects. This individual is highly organized, detail oriented and analytical with superior problem-solving skills.

**Location**:
Based in our headquarters at 36 Vimy Street, Acton, Ontario L7J 1S1.

**Responsibilities**:

- Primary prototype support, including design and consistency in all locations to ensure samples are displayed and organized, cost tracking, etc.
- Monitor inventories for all new product development prototypes, including maintaining material library, inventory tracking, and reordering to ensure items are in stock.
- Track prototype requests, costing, and test data for responding to queries related to the data or prototypes, utilizing an established tracking process.
- Submit and follow up on lab requests with all teams and update status’ on product samples accordingly.
- Assist New Product Development team with estimated Canadian and US pricing.
- Organize all ongoing development projects, follow up, and execute for continuous momentum.
- Coordinate preliminary test data, samples for sell sheets, and prototype samples.
- Gather information, final prototype details, initial measurements from internal/external factories through follow up and regular communication.
- Provide internal communication through Salesforce Chatter on projects to help spread the word and get samples into the hands of interested territory managers.
- Act as a primary liaison with sales, operations, and R&D to supporting team members on various tasks including administration and documentation of new processes.
- Backs up New Product Specification Specialist for basic responsibilities including but not limited to measuring, cataloguing, etc.

**Qualifications**:

- Post secondary diploma / degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Textile Studies or related program.
- 2 years’ in customer service, sales, or administrative role.
- Familiar with MS Office, Intermediate MS Excel.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and ERP systems.
- Proven Customer Service skills.
- Excellent written skills for newsletters and internal communication.
- Excellent verbal skills. Able to articulate sample requirements and follow up with appropriate cross functional teams assertively.
- Exposure to Project Management and Project Management software (Asana, Monday, etc.), would be an asset.
- Some travel may be required. Applicants should have a valid passport; must be willing and able to travel.
