Aulneau Renewal Centre (ARC) is looking for a Summer Day Camp Coordinator to plan, organize and coordinate ARC youth summer day camp community programming.

The Summer Day Camp Coordinator is responsible for planning and overseeing every aspect of summer day camp programming, daily activities, scheduling, lesson plans, purchasing of necessary supplies, administrative duties, and general camp operations, including:
**Position Responsibilities**
- Design, deliver, and evaluate day camp programs that meet the needs and interests of the camps target populations and ensure their delivery in a safe and quality manner
- Plans, organize and implement training for day camp staff and addresses personnel concerns, as necessary
- Oversees summer day camp budget, reassessing and adjusting according to enrollment numbers, monitoring revenue and expenses on an ongoing basis to ensure budget targets are met
- Organize materials needed for day-to-day activities
- Communicate with parents/caregivers about the youth needs and achievements.
- Assists with a drop-off and pick-up system, monitoring and providing a safe environment for all camp participants
- Maintains accurate records of attendance and sign-in/out documentation.
- Knows, understands, trains and executes all ARC policies and emergency procedures associated with the day camp.
- Compile reports including staff evaluations, camper evaluations, and recommendations for the following season
- Plan and execute a day camp marketing strategy in conjunction with Executive Director
- Has overall responsibility and accountability for camp operations, including staff, assets, and property

**Qualifications Required**
- Diploma or Degree in Recreation & Leisure, Outdoor Education, Bachelor of Arts or applicable field
- Experience working in youth programming is required
- Experience working with and addressing the needs of Indigenous, BIPOC, newcomer and immigrant youth communities
- Minimum of 3 years of significant leadership experience in leading youth programming, preferably in a day camp environment
- Have a demonstrated ability in the management of a day camp staff team as applicable
- Ability to plan, organize, and carry-out daily, weekly and special programs
- Ability to supervise and evaluate staff, volunteers, and youth
- Standard First Aid and CPR
- Clear vulnerable sector, criminal record and child abuse checks

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

- Winnipeg, MB R2H 0K6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
