Dog Walker

We proudly specializes in positive reinforcement handling methods and we are looking to add another team member who wishes to join as a force-free dog walker We service Squamish.

We are looking for someone:

Applicants must have:

- Their own vehicle (an SUV or a truck with a canopy, no sedans)
- Experience with dogs and dog reactivity
- Knowledge of dog body language
- Knowledge of positive reinforcement and marker training or willingness to learn
- Part time availability to start with, looking to expand to full time very quickly
- Long-term commitment
- Availability Monday to Friday 8am-4pm
- Interest in catering to small group hikes and private walks with dogs with behaviour challenges
- *Availability and willingness for pet sitting in clients homes is a HUGE asset*

This is not an average dog walking position, we maintain very high expectations of safety and treatment of the dogs. Compensation is competitive and there are some additional opportunities for income by means of dog sitting and cat visits. If you are interested in expanding an already acquired base knowledge of dogs, body language and positive reinforcement, then this is the position for you

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: From $3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Squamish, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
