**Job description**

On Leash is looking for dog lovers to join the family We specialize in dog walking and positive reinforcement training in Kelowna and West Kelowna. We are expending to Lake Country, Peachland and possibly Squamish and Vancouver. This mean you can earn money while travelling around BC

Passionate about animals? Get your dream job and start walking and training dogs now **Applicant MUST have some experience working with dogs or children and be willing to learn more about positive dog training methods such as leash walking skills, basic obedience, lure training and much more. Must be willing and comfortable to work outside for long hours in any weather conditions (gear not provided).**

Must have a car in good working condition which can fit at least 3 to 4 dogs comfortably. Valid BC driver's license required. **The job requires driving from one client to another around town and gas expense is not covered by the Employer**

**The position is a part-time job with possibility to get full-time hours. Hours are variable and depends on bookings.** Manage your schedule and days off.. Opportunity to make a career and take on more responsibilities within the company as we grow our business.

Your Role as a dog walker at On Leash:

- Properly exercise and socialize dogs on daily walks. Build a long lasting relationship with our clients and their dogs. Take on dog training challenges, play and train puppies. Occasional pet sitting at the owner's home and off-leash group hike.
- Take photos and videos of your work for our clients and to use on our social media channels.
- Be able to administer Pet First Aid in the event of an accident, injury or emergency. Must have a valid pet first aid certification or willing to get one (not covered but tax deductible).
- Ability and willingness to walk up to 5 to 20km per work day in all types of weather.
