**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Registrar, the Associate Registrar, Enrolment Systems and Operations is a senior member of the Registrar’s Office administrative team. The Associate Registrar develops and executes operational and strategic business plans to achieve College’s learner-driven service and enrolment growth goals. The incumbent directly supervises 3 full-time managers and has overall accountability for a diverse team of 22 full-time staff members and 7 part-time staff who, in turn, serve a student population of 19,000 full-time and 25,000 part-time registrants. The Associate Registrar manages a departmental budget, operational and system projects and associated project teams as required.

The Associate Registrar works closely with other Registrar’s Office administrators to ensure a cohesive learner-driven service approach and that standards of operational excellence are implemented with a focus on delivering solutions with exceptional customer service.

Enrolment Systems and Operations

The Associate Registrar leads the operations, including processes, systems and services that enable strategic enrolment management and academic planning. This includes curriculum management, fee management, academic scheduling, registration, student records, and enrolment and government reports. The Associate Registrar is accountable for the confidential maintenance and archiving of academic calendars and accurate student records and oversees the credential audit process including validation and declaration of graduates.

The Associate Registrar is the technical lead working closely with the Registrar on the strategic identification of system opportunities, implementations, and maintenance. Demonstrated insight on creative solution-finding, the incumbent is responsible for identifying, leading and implementing best practices around client and enrolment related systems. Knowledgeable about business information system implementations, the incumbent presents information in a structured and meaningful manner to support decision-making, and ensures the integrity of information presented.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of nine (9) years related administrative experience, and at least 5 years of/with progressive responsibility preferably in post-secondary education;- Post-baccalaureate graduate-level education in education, public administration, social science, business, or information technology.

Additional Requirements and Expectations:
- Demonstrated human resource experience; this position requires prior people management experience, experience working with unionized environments;- Additional Training related to Leadership, Client Service, Continuous Improvement, and Change Management;- Demonstrated human resource experience; this position requires prior people management experience, experience with unionized environments;- Knowledge of postsecondary curriculum; and demonstrated experience managing enrolment systems;- Experience leading a team with sound decision-making, and people development skills;- Data analysis for strategic enrolment management;- Knowledge of international education and private partnership agreements and specific impacts on enrolment planning;- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;- Sound knowledge and experience interpreting administrative policies and procedures;- Demonstrated ability to deliver multiple discrete projects on time and on budget while maximizing the benefits to the organization;- Experience working in postsecondary education in Canada preferred;- Project management, strategic planning and system implementation experience preferred;- Experience in Enrolment, Systems and Reporting.
