**About the position**:
Reporting to the Senior Account Executive, the Account Manager is responsible for selling Univar Solutions’ portfolio of products across multiple industries throughout the lower mainland of BC.

**Where you’ll work**:Based out of our Richmond, BC office (3-4 months) and then will work out of our Pitt Meadows, BC office. 2 days per week are

expected in the office and the remaining days in the field.

**What you’ll do**:

- Build profitable sales in an assigned territory.
- Primary focus of assigned accounts will be coatings customers but will also include various industrial customers
- Employ a consultative sales approach that focuses on building long term, value-based relationships with accounts.
- Prospect for new business; conduct sales calls and actively grow the size of the assigned territory in accordance with the company’s targets.
- Liaise with internal teams including customer service, purchasing and operations to ensure proper inventory levels and overall customer satisfaction.
- 2-3 time per year overnight travel may be required for out of town sales meetings or conferences.

**What you’ll need**:

- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Science or Business) and/or specialized training in CASE
- 2 or more years of experience in a sales role preferred.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License & clean driver’s abstract required.
