**OUR COMPANY**

A pioneer in food processing systems, we are a Toronto-based company that develops, manufactures, and markets the ORCA digester; a machine that sustainably processes solid food waste into wastewater. Our onsite waste digestion equipment allows customers to dispose of organics right at the source effectively eliminating the need to truck the waste to landfills. ORCA eliminates the production of methane gas, reduces emissions related to the transportation of waste, and provides meaningful cost savings for customers. We also offer an extensive service plan to ensure customers get the support and attention they need.

**THE POSITION**

**JOB DUTIES**

The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain and repair equipment to company standards in your service area while maintaining relationships with new and existing customers. You will be responsible for completing accurate reports on the ORCA technology at every job site, including taking photos of the units. Punctuality, reliability, and professionalism are essential in the role.
Repair and refurbish equipment that has been returned to the warehouse. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Basic mechanical, electrical and plumbing knowledge
- Experience in troubleshooting and executing repairs
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
- Proven ability to assess urgency and appropriately prioritize
- Able to maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Friendly and professional
- Ability to build and maintain working relationships with customers
- Ability to multitask handling multiple customer accounts
- Willingness to handle and remove decomposing food waste
- Must be able to respond quickly to customer / equipment issues.
- Must be able to lift 80-100 lbs on a regular basis (supplies and machinery parts stocked at our North York warehouse)
- Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Must be available to assist in after-hours emergency situations
- Occasional travel within Canada may be required
- Strong oral, written and verbal communication skills in English

**COMPENSATION**

Permanent full-time position with set hours, some overtime may be required
Benefits package available after 3-month probation period
