Automation Analyst

**What is the opportunity?**

**What will you do?**
- Develop and validate automation scripts based on test requirements
- Assist in Web, API and Mobile test automation using Selenium, Java/Python, SoapUI, Appium, etc.
- Maintain existing automation scripts
- Execute automated regression plans
- Troubleshoot issues encountered with automation scripts during execution
- Analyze automation test results and report defects accordingly.
- Walk through the automation test results with the QE Team and communicate status as appropriate.
- Assist in defect investigation and escalation.
- Follow QE Automation standard processes, frameworks and tools to implement continuous validation within DevOps pipelines.
- Collaborates with other areas within IT to identify and improve test automation
- Use organization’s QE software tools for defect management, test management and automation.

**Education/Experience**:

- Currently enrolled a co-operative education program in the field of Computer Science or equivalent
- Insurance business exposure will be an asset

**Systems Knowledge**:

- Programming experience with at least one of the following (.Net, Java and Python)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Nice-to-have:_
- IT Standards and Development Methodologies
- Technical skills in one of the following: Excel, macros, VBA, J-script
