OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a Real Estate Conveyancer/Paralegal to help us with all content production and document-related customer requests. You will leverage your experience and passion in real estate-related problem solving and attention to detail to ensure the needs of our customers are met. This role is based out of the Vancouver head office and will report to Head of Business, Real Estate.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
A sample of the specific work items includes:

- Document Creation: Create and modify “Content Packages” (being the blueprints/templates that enable our users to generate legal documents for their clients), including various letters and agreements for residential transactions in British Columbia.
- Domain Knowledge: Deliver technical and product knowledge to ensure that the documents that Appara produces are second to none. Further, maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of legal processes by keeping up with industry news, trends, and best practices.
- Customer Support: Work with our Product Leadership Team and our Customer Success Team to ensure customer requests for Content Packages are delivered on time and to a high level of quality.
- Quality Control: Perform quality control testing on automated documents.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
**Education**:

- Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate (minimum), with a demonstrated interest in document automation, or a degree in another related discipline.
- Paralegal Diploma is preferred

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years of B.C. conveyancing experience in a law firm or notary office environment (required), with an exceptional grasp of the real estate conveyancing process in B.C.
- Demonstrated experience with conveyancing software.
- History of quickly learning and using new technologies to deliver high quality results.
- Proficient in Microsoft product suite (Excel, Word). Ideally written basic Excel commands.
- Adept in working in a team environment, preferably employing Agile methodologies.
