**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring an acceptable level of quality of work is maintained
- Operate various manual welding equipment.
- Assemble, align, dismantle, and position industrial machinery, parts, pieces, and mechanical equipment according to specifications.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum Grade 12
- The following qualifications are not a requirement but would be considered great assets,
- Post-secondary education in related trades
- Experience operating metal working equipment, such as ironworker, press brake, hydraulic shear etc.
- Stainless steel welding and fabrication experience on industrial projects
- Experience with food grade materials
- Understanding of welding processes
- The ability to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner
- The ability to work from blueprints, sketches and verbal/written instructions
- The ability to self-motivate to work independently with mínimal supervision
- The ability to maintain good housekeeping standards
- The willingness to keep learning, in an ever changing environment
- Possess a strong sense of urgency with strong attention to detail

- Correctly divert waste to support Zero Waste initiatives
- React to green wastes (wasted energy and water, air leaks, product leaks etc.) by submitting work orders for immediate repair
