**Résumé du poste**:
**Responsabilités principales**:

- Effectuer des inspections détaillées des bâtiments industriels, commerciaux et multifamiliaux.
- Évaluer l’intégrité structurelle, la conformité aux codes de construction et le respect des normes de sécurité.
- Rédiger des rapports d’inspection complets avec des recommandations claires pour remédier aux lacunes identifiées.
- Collaborer avec des ingénieurs, entrepreneurs et propriétaires pour résoudre les problèmes relevés lors des inspections.
- Se tenir à jour sur les codes de construction locaux, les réglementations et les meilleures pratiques de l’industrie.
- Fournir des conseils d’expert aux clients sur l’état des bâtiments et les améliorations nécessaires.
- Participer aux visites de chantier, évaluations de projets et processus d’assurance qualité.

**Profil recherché**:

- Expérience avérée en inspection de bâtiments, en particulier pour des propriétés industrielles, commerciales et multifamiliales.
- Solide connaissance des codes de construction, normes de sécurité et méthodologies d’inspection.
- Connaissance des systèmes structurels, CVAC, électriques et de plomberie (un atout).
- Certification ou permis en tant qu’inspecteur en bâtiments (ou volonté de l’obtenir).
- Excellentes compétences en analyse et en résolution de problèmes.
- Aptitudes en communication écrite et orale pour la rédaction de rapports et les interactions avec les clients.
- Permis de conduire valide et accès à un véhicule pour les visites sur site.

**Role Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform detailed inspections of industrial, commercial, and multifamily buildings.
- Assess structural integrity, compliance with building codes, and adherence to safety standards.
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports with clear recommendations to address identified deficiencies.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and property owners to resolve issues identified during inspections.
- Stay updated on local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Provide expert advice to clients on building condition and necessary improvements.
- Participate in site visits, project evaluations, and quality assurance processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in building inspection, particularly for industrial, commercial, and multifamily properties.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and inspection methodologies.
- Familiarity with structural, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems (an asset).
- Certification or licensure as a Building Inspector (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client interactions.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site visits.
