Marianhill is currently seeking FULL TIME AND PART TIME **Personal Support Workers**.

Under the direction of the Director of Care and Unit Manager, the Personal Support Worker and Registered Practical Nurses assist with the provision of Resident care. Duties are performed in accordance with Marianhill’s mission statement, established policies and procedures, current legislation and in a manner that respects the uniqueness, dignity, worth, self-respect, self-determination and autonomy of our Residents to promote maximum independence.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Personal Support Worker Certificate required (minimum of 600 hours in duration, counting both class time and practical experience time)
- Ability to work with computerized records required.
- Food Handlers training is an asset.
- Experience working in a Long Term Care facility setting is an asset.
- Experience working in Geriatric Mental Health and dementia is an asset.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) is an asset.
- Oral and written proficiency in English is required.
- Excellent attendance is essential.

**Hours**: Varied Shifts. Ability to pick up extra shifts.

**Wage**: $22.41-$23.10 hourly (CUPE Local 2764) + $3 wage enhancement

Please note proof as per Marianhill policy of required vaccinations, including but not limited to COVID-19, influenza, etc., is required as well as proof of a 2-Step Mantoux TB Skin Test. You will be required to provide an original, vulnerable sector criminal record check clear of any/all offences and sign a declaration at time of hire. Education certificate, diploma or otherwise must be provided to the Employer and you must participate in the N95 Mask Fit Testing Program as applicable.)
