**What’s the ask?**

Reporting to the Manager, Client Partnerships, this position will be responsible for providing oversight and guidance to our Personal Plan Administration, (PPA Department). Your role will include the implementation of new group clients who partner with our PPA Department to ensure that their onboarding is as seamless as possible. These client implementations include coordinated billing processes, service agreements, carrier access, downloading of information from client and consultant, as well as implementation meetings which will encompass all onboarding processes and next steps. You will also continue to manage a small block of your own group benefits clients within the PPA department.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implementations of new clients as above
- Proactively provide solutions to meet client needs
- Continuously share process improvements with the team
- Maintain strong relationships with our clients, advisors and business partners
- Manage escalated Plan Sponsor issues
- Resolve complex cases by partnering with internal business partners
- Identify trends on potential and current client issues
- Provide coaching and mentoring to the team related to the day to processes
- Deliver consistent and quality service within standard 48-hour turnaround time
- Maintain KPI metrics on a monthly basis
- Enrolment of new plan members
- Answer correspondence related to the administration of the plan(s)
- Establish a professional relationship between the client and the carrier
- Ongoing maintenance of member’s eligibility information
- Complete employer statement for disability claims, follow up on status of claim with carrier an audit waiver updates
- Prepare and distribute welcome packages
- Prepare and/or audit coverage information on monthly billing statements
- Review HRIS feeds and research data discrepancies
- Load HRIS feeds into the carrier system and audit success
- Summarize billing information for the client payroll and finance departments as required
- Provide and coordinate support for the Consultant team as well as Client Partnership colleagues

**What does it take?**
- Minimum 3 years group insurance benefits
- Strong understanding of plan administration managed by the client and the carriers
- Strong initiative, planning, and problem-solving skills, including an ability to focus on both details and results
- Excellent communications skills to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences across all levels
- Strong coaching and effective leadership skills
- Proven problem solving and root cause identification skills; solution oriented
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Products
- The ability to lead, act as a role model and motivate a team
- The ability to use tact, discretion, and maintain information in the strictest of confidence
